Membership at Shipley Golf Club
As a member of Shipley Golf Club, you'll have access to our beautifully maintained 18-hole course and practice area throughout the year. Our club prides itself on providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members. With a variety of membership options tailored to suit different needs, you can find the perfect fit for your lifestyle. Members (subject to membership category) can enjoy; priority tee times, access to our clubhouse amenities, play in competitions, knock out events or the chance to be selected for our various teams playing in district matches for the ladies section, scratch team, 8-15 division, rabbits as well as seniors and juniors. Your membership will also give you have access to golf at some great courses around the country and world, that we have arrangements with for reduced green fees.

Our playing memberships also includes a County Card. This gives the holder discounted rates at more than 1350 golf clubs across the UK.

7 Day membership
- Unrestricted access to the course 7 days a week.
- Access to practice facilities and driving range
- Access to competitions including knockouts
- 2 x complimentary fourball vouchers to use throughout the year
- 10% discount on food and drink in clubhouse
- County card - discount green fees at participating clubs
- Eligible for club team matches
5 Day membership
- Access to the course weekdays (excluding Tuesday before 1pm).
- Access to practice facilities and driving range midweek
- Acces to competitions during these times.
- 10% discount on food and drink in clubhouse
- County card - discount green fees at participating clubs
- Eligible for some club team matches
3 Day membership
- Access to the course Sunday, Monday & Wednesday.
- Access to practice facilities and driving range on these days
- Acces to competitions during these times.
- 10% discount on food and drink in clubhouse
- County card - discount green fees at participating clubs
- Eligible for some club team matches
Intermediate membership
- Membership cost based on age to encourage younger members
- Unrestricted access to the course 7 days a week.
- Access to practice facilities and driving range
- Access to competitions including knockouts
- 10% discount on food and drink in clubhouse
- County card - discount green fees at participating clubs
- Eligible for club team matches
Student and Junior membership
- Unrestricted access to the course 7 days a week.
- Access to practice facilities and driving range
- Access to competitions including knockouts
- 10% discount on food and drink in clubhouse
- County card - discount green fees at participating clubs
- Eligible for club team matches
- Students - Evidence of full time education required each year
- Juniors - Under 18years on 1 April of membership year
Academy membership
- Academy membership offers new and returning golfers a chance to get back into golf with 18 holes of golf per week and unrestricted access to the clubs facilties
- Play up to 18 holes of golf per week, this can be split across as many days as you would like (1 x 18, 2 x 9, 3 x 6 etc)
- Must be new to golf, or returning after a period of 2 years or more. This membership is restricted to 24 months, at which point another category of membership can be chosen.
- Academy members are not eligible to play in competitions, but may gain and maintain a handicap.
Country membership
- Membership offers full playing rights to those whose principal residence is more than 50 miles from the clubhouse.
- 50 miles will be measured using Google Maps.
- Evidence of principal residence will be required.
- Full 7 day playing rights
Social membership
- 10% members discount over the bar
- Discounted room hire
- No playing rights on the course
- Use of putting green and driving range is permitted
